The order was formed by Gabriel as a sanction of security and police enforcement when the Reaping came, and the major cities of the humans fell. One of the few Angels that rebelled against Sammael and Raguel. A collaboration of supernaturals this rag-tag band of Supernatural and humans work their asses off to protect the city and those within.

A representative is chosen from every species to head up each section of office these commanders are under the guidance and laws created by Gabriel and the Others Of The Order. The laws created to protect and keep the last of humanity from falling within the realm of extinction and allowing The Divinity to win their war.

Seattle is one of the few cities where The Order maintains control the others are over run and controlled by the Divinity.  The Other Cities Where The Order and humans can travel are Chicago, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas. These cities often swap staff and give support to one another.

The Order's members all work together with a tight family bond or brotherhood of sorts. It's not perfect, but it's a joint effort by them all to keep the last of humanity alive and thriving.
